As duas sa\u00eddas, underflow e overflow, nem sempre s\u00e3o priorizadas ao mesmo tempo. Em aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de rejeitos em que a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1gua \u00e9 um requisito, o underflow \u00e9 o alvo. Mas em aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de concentrado, a medi\u00e7\u00e3o do transbordamento \u00e9 essencial. Caso contr\u00e1rio, o material importante retornar\u00e1 ao concentrador e perder\u00e1 a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Com um espessador, a separa\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00f3lido-l\u00edquido \u00e9 feita principalmente por sedimenta\u00e7\u00e3o. Um espessador tem v\u00e1rias camadas, sendo a camada superior a \u00e1gua clarificada. Abaixo da \u00e1gua clarificada est\u00e1 a interface, ou seja, s\u00f3lidos e \u00e1gua. Abaixo dessa camada est\u00e1 a lama e a camada mais baixa \u00e9 a lama pesada. As empresas usam a sedimenta\u00e7\u00e3o para produzir duas fases ao engrossar o fluxo de alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o de entrada. Em uma situa\u00e7\u00e3o ideal, o transbordamento cont\u00e9m o m\u00ednimo de s\u00f3lidos e o transbordamento cont\u00e9m o m\u00ednimo de l\u00edquido. \u00c9 por isso que \u00e9 muito importante medir a densidade.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-3 fusion_builder_column_3_5 3_5 fusion-flex-column\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-width-large:60%;--awb-margin-top-large:0px;--awb-spacing-right-large:3.2%;--awb-margin-bottom-large:20px;--awb-spacing-left-large:3.2%;--awb-width-medium:60%;--awb-order-medium:0;--awb-spacing-right-medium:3.2%;--awb-spacing-left-medium:3.2%;--awb-width-small:100%;--awb-order-small:0;--awb-spacing-right-small:1.92%;--awb-spacing-left-small:1.92%;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-column-has-shadow fusion-flex-justify-content-flex-start fusion-content-layout-column\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><h6 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"--fontsize: 16; line-height: 1.3; --minfontsize: 16;\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"20.8px\">Otimiza\u00e7\u00e3o do espessador<\/h6>\n<p>Os espessadores s\u00e3o muito importantes para a planta de processamento, pois se o material alimentado no espessador n\u00e3o estiver saindo do seu fluxo inferior, a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o geral do metal ser\u00e1 menor.<\/p>\n<p>Nos espessadores de concentrado, a alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o geralmente vem do circuito de flota\u00e7\u00e3o. O conceito do processo de flota\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 que as part\u00edculas desejadas se prendem \u00e0s bolhas de ar e s\u00e3o levadas \u00e0 superf\u00edcie e removidas da c\u00e9lula, enquanto as part\u00edculas que n\u00e3o se prendem \u00e0s bolhas de ar permanecem na fase l\u00edquida. Se o mesmo evento ocorrer no tanque do espessador, a espuma poder\u00e1 levar materiais valiosos para o transbordamento. Quando esses materiais valiosos n\u00e3o s\u00e3o recuperados, isso leva a uma menor recupera\u00e7\u00e3o geral do metal concentrador na usina de processamento. Esse evento tamb\u00e9m pode resultar em custos extras com reagentes, danos a bombas e v\u00e1lvulas e custos de limpeza dos tanques de \u00e1gua do processo, onde os s\u00f3lidos podem acabar se depositando.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-image-element\"
